Marketing Director for Startups
Helena has been the first Marketing Director/Marketing Employee for two Saas companies, Opus One and Med E-Care, and has been so successful in her role that the followers and employees of both companies have doubled under her tenure.
She was also involved in helping Opus One successfully raise their Series B so her connections and fundraising knowledge could be of additional use to Laxis in the future. Helena is used to doing everything herself and wearing ‘many hats’, and she is capable of multi-tasking and creating everything from Google Adwords campaigns to Mail Chimp/email campaigns.
She considers one of her greatest strengths/differentiators to be the fact that she creates 3-5 year long-term marketing plans and is able to see the bigger picture of where a marketing department needs to focus to achieve serious results. She honed her market strategy analysis skills at 3M China and believes the best marketing plans start with analyzing and understanding your market. Because she was the first employee in the marketing departments for Opus One and Med E-Care, she knows how to make the most of small budgets and produce big results.
Helena’s base salary ask is $100K but she is open to a discussion with you about how to best make things work for everybody.
